Fundraising takes many forms - and we are continually inspired by the ingenuity and commitment of those who take action for our cause. Each initiative, whether by an individual or a company, reflects a unique blend of generosity, creativity, and heart.
Thanks to these efforts, we've been able to make substantial contributions to the charities we support - from providing an industrial-size oven or a walk-in fridge for a social kitchen, to offering educational materials for underprivileged youth, or funding an annual grant that enables the employment of a person at risk of exclusion through the Deixalles workshop. And that's just the beginning.
Discover some of the inspiring initiatives that keep our mission moving forward, join in future ones, or dream up a fundraising idea entirely of your own. Every act of support, big or small, helps us change lives together.
Past and ongoing actions are listed below, starting with the most recent and tracing back to the very first. If you'd like to know more about the amounts raised or how the funds have been used to support our beneficiaries, we'd love to hear from you. Guided by our belief in transparency, we carefully record every transaction and are always happy to share these details with anyone who wishes to learn more about our work.
Consistency and kindness go hand in hand with Captain and DJ Jeremy. Since the pandemic, he's been delivering pasta to YGB every single week - and if work keeps him from making a delivery one week, he simply doubles up the following one. Now, five years later, we've counted that thanks to Jeremy's unwavering routine, YGB has been able to supply over 10,000 kg of essential supplies to the charity kitchen Associació Tardor. Jeremy's example reminds us that even the simplest acts, when done consistently, can add up to make a huge difference. Our most heartfelt thanks for your commitment!
